Tina Turner, born Anna Mae Bullock on November 26, 1939, in Nutbush, Tennessee, emerged as a music legend, overcoming immense personal struggles to become the Queen of Rock 'n' Roll. Her early life was marked by both musical aspirations and harrowing experiences.

Growing up in a small town, Tina discovered her love for singing at a young age. She frequently performed in her local church choir and later joined a rhythm and blues group called the Kings of Rhythm.
