Mariah Carey with Lauryn Hill new song "Save The Day" is No. 1 on the Pop List


Two for the most celebrated and best selling female artists of all time teams up for "Save The Day"


Mariah Carey released her new single "Save the Day" featuring vocals from Lauryn Hill sampled from the Fugees' hit "Killing Me Softly" a remake of Robert Flack's classic hit. We added this to the Pop list at the number 1 position because, why not. Mariah Carey is a national treasure and Lauryn Hill is an international music icon.


"Save The Day" is the first single from Carey's upcoming The Rarities, a project which will collect unreleased tracks and live performances from her 30-year career, releasing on Oct. 2. As part of #MC30, Mariah will also release a memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey, out Sept. 29.
