Just added to “My Pop Sh!T” is the debut single from a hot new up and coming artist, who goes by the name Disney Amyka. Disney’s new single is called “Feel Good” and it is already started generating considerable buzz in the United States and the Caribbean

On "Feel Good", she confidently sets her potential suitor straight on his assumptions of the type of person she is, reclaiming her agency & asserting herself as an equal to any man. With flawless vocals and an infectious reggae-infused mid-groove pop backdrop, "Feel Good" is an impressive debut that will have listeners eagerly waiting for her next project.

The New York City based Disney Amyka who is of Jamaican parentage, was born into Caribbean Musical Royalty, her uncle, the chart-topping music producer, Rohan “Jah Snowcone” Fuller helped expose Disney to the music industry at a young age. She was privy to conversations about the music industry while witnessing private jam sessions with top musicians and songwriters.

Disney has performed at various clubs, and prestigious events. She has sung at Carnegie Hall, at the Inauguration for New York's Governor Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill DeBlasio & several other important engagements.

All her hard work led to a chance meeting with, J. Conrad Robinson. Noted for discovering and helping to develop Alicia Keys, he provided key vocal production for industry heavyweights such as Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Jeff “Gitty” Gitleman, H.E.R, Mary J. Blige and others.

Disney draws inspiration from the likes of Lauryn Hill, Brian McKnight , Dennis Brown, Bob Marley, and more. Her desire is to blend contemporary R&B/Soul with Reggae & Dancehall in a truly unique & authentic manner. With her sweet melodic tones, Disney crafts songs that are designed to uplift and spread positivity and self-empowerment.

Disney is definitely someone to watch and we at the DaPlaylister will be watching her career development very, very closely.
